Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Sr. Officer to manage quality control activities, perform advanced testing, and ensure compliance with quality standards. The role involves handling analytical instruments, maintaining accurate documentation, and supporting continuous improvement in QC processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform chemical analysis and testing as per SOPs and quality standards
• Operate and maintain analytical instruments (HPLC / GC / UV / FTIR as applicable)
• Ensure accurate recording of test results, logbooks, and reports
• Investigate deviations, OOS (Out of Specification) results, and take corrective actions
• Maintain compliance with GMP / GLP and safety standards
• Coordinate with production, QA, and other departments for quality-related matters
• Assist in internal/external audits and ensure documentation readiness
• Support method development, validation, and process improvements (if applicable)
• Guide and support junior chemists/trainees

Must-Have Skills (Non-Negotiable)

• 2–4 years of hands-on experience in QC / analytical lab
• Strong knowledge of analytical chemistry and testing methods
• Practical experience with instruments like HPLC / GC / UV / FTIR
• Good understanding of GMP / GLP and quality systems
• Strong documentation and reporting skills
• Ability to handle deviations, OOS, and troubleshooting
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently with ownership

Good-to-Have Skills (Preferred)

• Experience in chemical / pharma / manufacturing industry
• Exposure to method development and validation
• Experience in audit handling (internal/external)
• Leadership ability to guide junior team members
• Knowledge of ERP / LIMS systems
• Understanding of regulatory standards and compliance
• Process improvement mindset
